Mr. Jim Whiteside Called to His Reward-Burial at Elmhurst Tuesday Afternoon

Mr. Jim T. Whiteside died yesterday afternoon at his home on College Avenue, after an illness of several weeks: He is survived by his wife and a number of relatives, most of whom live in South Carolina. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 4:3O at the Presbyterian Church, conducted by Dr. Wm. H. Rich and Rev. John 0. Logan. Interment at Elmhurst cemetery. Mr. Whiteside was about fifty years old, and had been a resident of this city about thirty years. He was a splendid citizen and true friend and leaves a wide circle of friends to mourn his death.
