Mrs. Fannie Mae Rogers, 72, died at the Wagoner Hospital Sunday morning, January 27, 1957, after an illness of several weeks. She was born May 4, 1884 in Waco, Texas and came to Wagoner from Lincoln, Arkansas in 1924.
Rev. Al N. Glasgow, pastor of the Immanuel Baptist Church, of which she was a member, officiated at the services which were held there a t 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Survivors are her husband, Homer E. Rogers of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Rosie Price, Wagoner; Mrs. Marie Sittler, Tulsa; two sons, Lowell Edmond Rogers, and Irvin Leroy Rogers both of Houston, Texas; one brother, Ray Bartlett, Lincoln, Nebraska; one sister, Mrs. Alice Savell, Abilene, Texas; 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Green Funeral Home of Wagoner. Pallbearers were Lige Johnson, Lee Harvey, Roy Eidson, Earl Smith, Oscar Jeffers, Jr. and John Wright.
