In Memory.
Albert Leo Bass, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. A.A. Bass, died Friday morning, after an illness of about two weeks, aged six months and eighteen days. The funeral took place from the home Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Tabor. Mrs. William Kellar, of Shawnee, and Mrs. C.H. Smith, of Gainesville, Texas, the former Mrs. Bass’s sister, and the latter a sister of Mr. Bass, were present. Mr. and Mrs. Bass have much sympathy in the loss of their first-born. He was a very bright, promising child, and many fond hopes are ruined in this too early death. But the pain is for the parents; as for the baby, he wears the crown without the conflict.

Little Albert, the six-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. A.A. Bass, died Friday morning, August 10, after an illness of several weeks. Funeral services were conducted from the home by Rev. Tabor, the Christian evangelist, Saturday afternoon. The deepest sympathy is felt for the grieving parents whose home is thus early saddened by the loss of their bright, sweet little one.
