Nafziger.- John, son of Daniel and Katie (Schertz) Nafziger, was born at Minier, Ill., Mar. 7, 1885; died at the Hopedale Nursing Home on June 6, 1977; aged 92 y.
In 1908 he was married to Otilla Sutter, who died in 1917.
In 1921 he was married to Anna Schantz, who died in 1945.
Surviving are one son (Vilas), 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, one brother (Silas), and one sister (Mrs. Lena Litwiller).
Two brothers preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Hopedale Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on June 9, in charge of Aden Yoder; interment in the Hopedale Mennonite Cemetery.
