Maudie E. Moon, one of Danville's older citizens, died, Thursday evening, in the Vinewood Nursing Home in Plainfield.
A native of Hendricks County, she was born July 25, 1877 the (son) of the late Martin and Sarah Rutledge Christie. She was married to the late Oscar Moon, who died in 1938.
She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church of Danville.
Services were Saturday afternoon in the Weaver Funeral Home, Danville, with the Rev. Eldon Coons officiating, Burial was in the South Cemetery.
Cousins are the only survivors.
