Oldest Daughter of Family Passes

The funeral services for Mrs. Mary C. Tuttle were held in the North Ward Chapel Wednesday afternoon, under the direction of Bishop E.T. Reid.

The speakers for the occasion included Mr. Jos. Clark of Provo, Mr. H.G. Brown, Mr. Ambrose Tuttle, Mr. Ray Chapman and Bishop Reid. Musical numbers were furnished by the singing mothers of the North Ward. Solo by Mrs. Carol K. Lowry, violin solo, Miss Helen Clark of Provo and a duet Mr. and Mrs. E.E. Johnson.

Mrs. Tuttle passed away at a hospital in Park City following an operation for goiter. She was born in Manti October 4, 1870, the daughter of John Haslem and Theressa Clark. On December 19, 1888. She was married to Louis E. Tuttle, who passed away 1914.

Five sons and daughters survive. Mrs. Clinton T. Boyington, Eugene, Elmer, and Edgar of Manti, and Mrs. Alva Belliston of Nephi. Eight brothers and sisters, Mrs. Jos. Clark, Provo; Mrs. Wallace Riddle, Panquitch; Mrs. Hal Taylor, Helper; Dr. Thos. Clark, Park City; Dr. H.R. Clark, Mrs. Fred Keller, Mrs. R. A. Stowell and Mrs. L.A. Wilson, Manti
