Funeral services for Mrs. Etta Irene Ables, 92, of Lexington Manor Nursing Home in Lexington, were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 4 at Seneasha Methodist Church in Attala County. Rev. Walter Hughley officiated, assisted by Rev. R.C. Gray. Burial was in Seneasha Methodist Cemetery with Southern Funeral Home of Durant in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ables died of heart failure Thursday, May 2 at Methodist Hospistal of Middle Mississippi in Lexington.

A native of Texas, she was a homemaker and a member of Seneasha Methodist Church.

Survivors include: sons, Robert C. Cleghorn, Jr. of Greenville, Texas, Curtis Cleghorn of Birmingham, Alabama, and Paul F. Ables of Goodman; daughter Margarette McDonald of Walnut; 29 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Active pallbearers were Earl Ables, Paul Darren Ablews, Carlton Alford, Tommy Cleghorn, Larry Cleghorn, and Mike Read.

Honorary pallbearers were Kime Cook, Randy Hutchin, Andy McCrory, Richard mcCrory, Jason Davis, and Spence Oliver.
