John was married first to (unknown)then married my grandmother, Rose Wood. Together they had 9 children: Edna Vivian, William Vernon, Lillian May, Hazel Stephane, Clifford Jennings (my father), Leroy John, George Sidney, Dale Edward and Everett Leslie (Chic). John died at home due to a long illnes with cancer. Rose raised her children and moved to California where several of her children migrated. She died January 7, 1966, in Woodland, CA, and is resting at East Lawn Cemetery, Sacramento, CA. John's parents were Jens & Sigri (Halvorsdatter) Amundson from Nes, Buskerud, Norway. They immigrated to the US in 1850 and are buried in Blooming Prairie, MN.
