George Maylen, Enid Pioneer is Dead


George W. Maylen, 63 years old, died yesterday afternoon at the home of his son, Joe Maylen, 1616 West James Street. His death resulted after a long illness. The funeral services will be held Monday, the time and place to be announced later. Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery.


Mr. Maylen is a pioneer resident of Enid having lived here many years. He is survived by three sons, Joe Maylen with whom he made his home, Ed Maylen of Enid and Harry Maylen of Ringwood.

George W. Maylen, 63 years old, died Friday afternoon at the home of his son, Joe Maylen, 1616 West James street. His death resulted after a long illness. The funeral services were held Monday.


Mr. Maylen was a pioneer resident of Enid, having lived here many years. He is survived by three sons, Joe, with whom he made his home, Ed, of Enid and Harry of Ringwood.
