Luda was married to Manuel E. Shockley 17 Jun 1889 Kingman, Kansas. They divorced. She married William P. Love 21 Jan 1931 Santa Ana, California. They were married for only a brief period of time before they, too, parted ways and she took back the Shockley surname.

MRS LUDA B. SHOCKLEY

Mrs. Luda B. Shockley, 88, died Thursday afternoon in a local hospital after a long illness.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Brown Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Floyd Strater officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery.

Born in Illinois, Mrs. Shockley moved to Oklahoma at the opening of the Cherokee Strip, staking a claim two miles south of Kremlin. Later she moved to North Enid, and in 1920 came to Enid. She was a member of the Davis Park Christian Church.

She is survived by four sons, Milton C., North Enid; Chester B., Chicago, Ill.; Louis K., Ringwood; and Elmer, Anchorage, Alaska; one daughter, Mrs. Atha Smith, Hollywood, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Del Stinnett [sic], Kingman, Kan.; Mrs. Lelah Stinnett [sic], Kingman, Kan.; and Mrs. Etta McCosker [sic], California; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are: Ray Elkins, Harold Parriott, Roy Roberts, John Bish, Gus Reimer, and Bill Bushnell
