Francis Eliza Wood, daughter of Richard A. and Cassander Lilly was born February 25, 1854 and passed away at her home June 13, 1935 at the age of 81 years, 3 mo and 18 days. She was married to Lemuel L. Wood. No children were born to this union. She leaves her afflicted husband, two sisters, 3 brothers, besides other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services

Funeral services were conducted from the home at 12:30 p.m. Saturday by Dr. D.T. Wagner who used as his text the 90th Psalm. Internment was in the Beecher City Cemetery. Among those from a distance were: Mrs. Mary Clark and Mrs. Don Clark and daughter of Flora; Mrs. and Mrs. C.E. Bartscht of Shelbyville; Mrs. and Mrs. Will Cramer of Owaneco; John Ladd Jr. and sister Ruth of Taylorville.
