FUNERAL RITES HELD FOR AUTO COLLISION VICTIM AT DAVIS WARD SATURDAY

Funeral services for Ira Atwood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Atwood of Naples who died Wednesday of last week as the result of injuries received when the horse he was riding on the evening of November 14 collided with a car, were held at the LDS Chapel in Davis Ward last Saturday. The invocation was given by Edward Watkins, Sr. and Bishop Alfred Simpers, Sterling Haws and Frank Slaugh are the speakers. A choir composed of Mrs. Levone Burke, Mrs. Minnie Postma, Mrs. Kate Slaugh, Mrs. Eunice Simpers, Mrs. Ellie Slaugh and Charles Goodrich sang several selections.

Interment was in the Vernal cemetery, a large concourse of relatives and friends accompanying the casket to the grave. Bishop Edward Watkins dedicated the grave.

Ira Atwood is survived by his parents, one brother and four sisters.
