Mrs. Goldie L. Johnson

SUTTON - Mrs. Goldie L. Exline Johnson, 87, of Sutton, died Nov. 26, 1989, in Braxton County Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

She was a member of Keener Ridge Community Church.

Surviving: stepsons, Jim Johnson of Upper Marlboro, Md., Robert Johnson of Indiana; daughter, Marie Staton of Gassaway; step-daughters, Margaret Parkins of Indiana and Mary Lou Copeland of Huntington; brothers, Blaine Tanner of Vero Beach, Fla., and Brooks Tanner of Corley; sister, Pearl Milam of St. Albans; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, with the Rev. Earl Cayton officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Creek Cemetery, near Gassaway. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
