Leaborn A. Baldwin, 87, died April 4 1996, at his residence in Oil Springs. Mr. Baldwin was born October 22 1908, in Johnson County, the son of John and Myrtle Lemaster Baldwin. He was a retired meter reader in the oil fields and a member of the United Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Blanche Reed Baldwin, four sons, Lee Baldwin, Johnny Baldwin and Lowell Baldwin, all of Oil Springs and Larry Baldwin of Paintsville; three daughters, Anna Marie, Colvin of Curtis, Ohio, Dora Meade and Mary Cantrell both of Oil Springs; one brother, Hershell Baldwin of Oil Springs; two sisters, Oakley Reed of Oil Springs and Edna E. Arms of Shelbyville, Michigan; 29 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held April 7, 1996 at Paintsville Funeral Home with Elders Douglas Ward, Rutherford Blair and Donald Ray Baldwin officiating. Pallbearers were Branch Colvin Jr., Randy Baldwin, Mark Meade, David Keith Cantrell, Doug Baldwin, Larry Baldwin Jr. and Greg Baldwin. Burial was at the Baldwin Cemetery in Oil Springs Paintsville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangments.
