Permelia Jane (Gifford) Sisson was the daughter of Stephen Barker Gifford and Permelia (Tripp) Gifford of Westport, MA.
Permelia Jane Gifford married William Alden Sisson in 1846, and they had five children that I can find:
William W. Sisson, Charles H. Sisson (who marries my first cousin 3x removed - Isabella Tripp Baker), Adelaide Sisson, Jane L. Sisson, and Orianna Sisson.
While I originally posted this memorial as I was working on my mother's BAKER family tree, I have since found that Permelia is also related thru her mother's TRIPP lineage. (She would be a 5th cousin, 5x removed thru the TRIPP line...)
