Lillian Betty Fajkus, 80, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed on to be with our Lord August 24, 2002.

A native Texan and 60-year resident of Houston, she spent many years waitressing at Fifers, Tell-A-Wink Grill and Brooks. She was a member of the KJZT Lodge. She loved to garden and especially picking her prettiest roses for everyone to enjoy. Her favorite things were family get-togethers, going to Las Vegas, the Astros, dancing, playing cards and dominoes.

She was preceded in death by her sister Beatrice Gentry.

She is survived by husband William Fajkus, children, Bill Fajkus of Keller, Tx, Pauline Harmon of Houston, Tx, Gerald Fajkus of Houston, Tx, and Danny Fajkus of Houston, Tx, brothers Louis Matocha of Highlands, Tx and Leroy Matocha of Fayetteville, Tx, sisters Isabel Goebel of Winchester, Tx and Lucy Wisnoski of Manvel, Tx, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Howard-Glendale Funeral Home on Monday, August 26, 2002, from 8 a.m. to 9 P.M. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2002.

Visitation at Koenig-Strickland Funeral Home in La Grange, Tx from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2002, at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Plum, Texas with Msg. Stanley Petru officiating. Interment to follow at Plum Cemetery.
