(1) Emily Jane LESLIE on 28 Apr 1950 in Shreveport LA. They had two children: Emily and Susan Diane MAY.
(2) Annette HARRELSON PARKER on 19 Dec 1969 in Caddo Parish LA.

OBITUARY: The Shreveport Times, 1 Dec 1995
Haughton, LA – Services for Mitchell Veldon May, 71, will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 1, 1995 at the Wellman Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. John Lavo, pastor of Love Chapel United Methodist Church in Haughton. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home. Mr. May died Wednesday, November 29, 1995 at Willis Knighton Medical Center as the result of an accident. He was born in Columbia, La., was a former resident of Shreveport for a number of years, and had resided in Haughton for the past 22 years.
Mr. May was an insurance salesman retired from Security Industrial Insurance Co. He was a member of the Love Chapel United Methodist Church of Haughton, a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy, a Mason and a member of the Haughton Masonic Lodge and member of Toastmasters.
He is survived by his wife, Annette H. May of Haughton, La.; three daughters, Emily May Caldwell and husband Doug of West Monroe, La., Susan Diane May of Monroe, La., and Dr. Pamela Parker Glisson and husband Shawn of Atlanta, Ga.; one grandson, Benjamin Leslie Caldwell, three brothers, Lawrence may of San Francisco, CA, retired Lt. Col. Bill May of Mobile, Ala., and Bernard May of Monroe, La.; two sisters, Lena Webb and her husband Coco of Shreveport, and Christine Griffith of Monroe, La.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Doug Caldwell, Shawn Glisson, Jim Richardson, Dewey Elliott, Alan Hicks and Jimmy Lynn.
