On June 15, 1938, he was married to lva Mildred Brunk, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons (Ralph and John), 2 daughters (Floris-Mrs. Wayne Leis and Linda-Mrs. George Nauss), 11 grandchildren, and one brother (Lloyd). Two sisters preceded him in death. He was a member of Poole Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 21, in charge of Amsey Martin and Clifford West; interment in the Poole Mennonite Cemetery.
