MINOR CLIFTON, 18 YEARS OLD, BURIED TODAY

Minor Clifton, 18 years old, died Saturday night at the home of his grandmother, Mrs. E.J. Sweet, of hemorrhage of the lungs, after a long illness. The funeral was held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Refuge church, and burial was in the Refuge cemetery.

The boy had been making his home with his grandmother since the tragic death of his parents in October, 14 years ago, when a wagon in which they were riding was struck by a train near Memphis, Mo., and both were killed.

He leaves four sisters and one brother, Mrs. Maud McAllister, Mrs. Gladys McAllister, Flo Clifton and June Clifton, and Floyd Clifton, all of Kirksville. He also leaves four uncles and two aunts.

A host of friends extend sympathy to the family in its bereavement.
