Henry Kruger a pioneer Davenport resident and retired farmer, died in Spokane hospital from cancer of the stomach. The body was brought to Davenport Monday evening and the funeral services were held yesterday morning.
Interred in the Zion Cemetery. Survived by his wife, and four children, sister, Mrs. Minnie Miller of Rocklyn, two brothers, Gus Kruger of Rocklyn, and Emil Kruger of Harrington, and a half brother, Edward Mielke, and a half sister, Mrs. H A Maurer, of Rocklyn. ref: Combined Citizen 22 Dec 1922; Scrapbook obit undated
