MRS. IDA ALICE BINGAMAN
Ida Alice Bingaman was born near Lebanon, Van Buren county, Iowa, on March 4, 1858, and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. W. Hamm, at Knoxville, Iowa, on March 26, 1933, aged 75 years and 23 days.
She was united in marriage to John Wesley Bingaman, of Monroe county, on September 21, 1882. To this union were born four children, H. C. Bingaman, of Des Moines; Mrs. E. W. Hamm, of Knoxville; Mary B. Ryun, of Des Moines; and John W. Bingaman, of Bettendorf, Iowa. Also three grandchildren, John William Hamm, Mildred and Donald Bingaman, and a host of other relatives and friends who will mourn her loss.
She was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, and all of her brothers and sisters.
When only a child she was converted and joined the Methodist Episcopal church and has been a continuous member ever since.
She was a kind and loving mother, a good wife and a friend to all who knew her. Always of a cheerful disposition, she bore her last days of suffering with patience and was appreciative of everything done for her.
Funeral services were held at Oakdale church Monday afternoon, with interment in Oakdale cemetery.
