The funeral of W. F. Mitchell of Almira, was held last Friday from the Methodist church. Interment was made in the Almira Cemetery. Mr. Mitchell came to Almira about 16 years ago. He was in the employ of M E Hay for some time in the implement department of Mr. Hay's Almira store. Later he embarked in business for himself, and for several years conducted a successful hardware and implement store. His widow and son survive. (Odessa Record: 10-06-1916)
