Harvey Hayden, 85, passed away August 16, 2004 at his home in Edmond. He was born March 31, 1919 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, the son of Laura Ella Hayden and Justin Hill Hayden. Harvey was employed at Phillips Petroleum Company as Superintendent and also served in the United States Army Air Corp. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Edmond. Harvey will be remembered as a man of strength, faith, honesty and integrity, and someone who lived for his family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and most of all spending time with his family. Harvey has gone to be with his wife of sixty four years, Ida Mae Hayden, and is survived by two daughtes, Betty Murphy, Judy and husband, Scott Horner of Edmond; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
