Specialist Four Kenneth George Burlock Jr was a casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, SP4 Burlock served our country until September 17th, 1969 in Tay Ninh, South Vietnam. He was 23 years old and was not married. It was reported that Kenneth died from multiple fragmentation wound from a mine. His body was recovered. SP4 Burlock is on panel 18W, line 100 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.
Kenneth George Burlock Jr, US Army, of 2000 South Drive, Jacksonville, was killed in Vietnam. Surviving are his parents; Mrs Dorothy Burlock of Jacksonville and Mr Kenneth Burlock of San Bernardino, California; a brother, Robert N Burlock, U.S. Army Virginia; his maternal grandfather, Matthew Housburger, his paternal grandmother, Mrs Lillian Stone Stone, and an Uncle, Leo Housburger, all of Maiden, Massuchusetts.
He served as a 25th Infantry Division Scout Dog Handler, with the 1st Cavalry Division(AMBL), USARV.
