Services were Saturday in the Decatur Church of Christ for Mrs. Mary Fleming "Aunt Mamie" Manning, 91. She died Feb. 6 in the Decatur Community Hospital. Interment was in the Oaklawn Cemetery with Frank Briscoe officiating.

Pallbearers were Jerry Myers, Bob Buchanan, Gordon Renshaw, Jack Buck, Roger Gage and Norman Stephens.

Born in Russell County in Alabama Nov. 16, 1883, she was the youngest daughter of Richard and Josephine Porter and was the last survivor of her immediate family. She came to Texas with her family, first to Denton County when she was six weeks old. She later moved to Wise County.

She married Thomas Theddeus Manning in Denton County Jan. 5, 1902. He died in 1944. A daughter, Sammie Monroad, died in 1955 and son, Clyde E. Manning, who was superintendent of Wise County Schools, died in 1968.

She is survived by daughters, Myrtle Lee Manning of New York, N.Y., Winnie D Edwards of Dallas and Velma T. Taylor of Decatur; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
