JEFFERSON - Graveside services for Mr. Charles Truman Greenhill, Sr., 87, of Jefferson, will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, November 8, 2009, in the Berea Cemetery in Jefferson with Pastor. John Taylor officiating.
Mr. Greenhill passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at Beacon Hospice at Margaret's House in Longview.
Mr. Greenhill was a World War II Army veteran. While serving in the war he received the Good Conduct Medal, Purple Heart, EAME Service Ribbon and two Bronze Service Stars.
He was a member of the Berea Seventh Day Adventist Church in Jefferson and loved spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Maurine Greenhill.
