Dr. Gaines B. Hall, 85, long time minister in Wichita Falls and the surrounding area died at the home of a daughter.

Dr. Hall was pastor of the First Southern Presbyterian Church, now the Fain Memorial, from 1926-1937 in Wichita Falls. Before moving to Wichita Falls pastorate, he was secretary of home missions for the Dallas Presbytery going to a similar position in Oklahoma when leaving Wichita Falls in 1937.

He was pastor of a number of small churches including Graham at one time.

Survived by two daughters - Mrs. George "Sara Beth" Anderson and Mrs. Joe "Louise" Brown; one son - Cliff Hall.
