Graveside service for Edna "Menga" Whittington, 81, of Newark was Friday, Sept. 15, 2000, at Boyd Cemetery.
Whittington died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000, in Azle.
Born Dec. 2, 1918, in Paris, she was a retired homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Whitt Whittington, a daughter, Tommie Ruth Whittington, brothers Marlin Knotts and R.A. Knotts and sisters Ina Hopkins and Antha Walters.
She is survived by two daughters, a son, a brother, sisters, grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
