Hazel Meadows, 94, of Groves died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at the Magnolia Manor Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be 12 Noon Thursday, December 24, 2009 at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland with Rev. Jimmy Robbins officiating. Services are under the direction of Broussard's in Nederland.
Mrs. Meadows was a native of Nacogdoches and lived in the Beauxart Garden area since1944. She was a homemaker and a member of the Beauxart Gardens Baptist Church.
Mrs. Meadows was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Meadows, son Jerry Lewis Meadows, and her brothers, Marvin D. Blanton, and Thomas Blanton. She is survived by her nephews, Marvin Blanton and wife Wanda Sue of Groves, Michael Blanton and wife Connie of Call, and Terry Blanton of Spurger.
