"Mrs. Cora Fridelle Pouncey, of Woodcliff Lake, N. J., for many years a resident of Birmingham, died Friday, June 29, after a long illness.
"Surviving Mrs. Pouncey are her husband, Joseph Ross Pouncey; a daughter, Miss Rosalind Pouncey; and three sons, Burlye B. Pouncey, of Tenafly, N. J.; Maj. J.R. Pouncey, with the Army in Belgium,. and T-Sgt. Banks W. Pouncey, with the Army in New Guinea.
"Burial in the family plot in Elmwood Cemetery will be delayed until return of the two sons from overseas."
Both of her parents were born in Georgia, according to the 1900 census, as well as both of her mother's parents. Her mother, Lotunia, lived with them in 1900 (b. Jun 1846, Georgia, mother of one child) and 1910.
