He had been employed as a janitor. Survivors include his step-mother, Margaret Coates. His parents Jesse and Margaret West Black preceded him in death. Calling hours will be noon to I pm Friday 28 January at Hillis Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue. Graveside services will be at 1:30 pm Friday at Zion Lutheran Cemetery near Adamsville with Elder Frank McDonald officiating.
