Mr. Curtis was born April 6, 1928 in Aetna Township to Lloyd and Laverna (Spencer) Curtis. He married the former Marlene Anne Beagle June 14, 1952 in Moorestown, and she preceded him in death in 2004. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during WWII.
He was employed by General Motors for 31 years before retiring in 1983 and moving to Lake City.
Mr. Curtis was a Forest Township Trustee. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his children, Steven and Karen Curtis of Flint, Beverly Davis of Mt. Morris, Susan and Russell Derseweh of Marine City and Dianna and Brian Crampton of Mt. Morris; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Clifford Curtis Jr.; a brother-in-law, Wayne Ware; and brother, Slim.
