Mrs. Edmund Wolters, age 90 years, 11 months and 21 days, succumbed unexpectedly at her home here February 25, 1975. Funeral services were held from Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Chapel February 27 at 2 p.m., Rev. Donald Mattson officiating at the last rites and burial was in the Old High Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers were Wilbur Wolters, Allen Ohnheiser, Edward Borski, Gene Fruendenburg, Lloyd Hemphill, Ray Krampota and Hershel Baker.
Mrs. Wolters, nee Olga Ahrens, was born April 15 1884, at Freyburg as a daughter of the late Henry and Anna (Sachleben) Ahrens. On October 13, 1903, she was united in marriage to Edmund Wolters at Freyburg and the couple settled in the Freyburg community. She was a member of the United Evangelical Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid.
