Mr Anderson was born Sept 3, 1931, in Newcastle. he and Nelda Herring were married Sept 26, 1953, in Chico, Texas. he had been a farmer and rancher. He was a Baptist. He was a lifetime Newcastle resident.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, Deryl of Graham, Texas, and Jerry of Newcastle; a daughter, Debra of Newcastle; a brother, Dois Earl of Baird, Texas; five sisters, Joyce Addison of Archer City, Texas, Luella Isham of Dimmitt, Texas, Velma Kinser of Tulia, Texas, Jenell Smith of Olney, Texas, and Billie Green of Trinity, Texas; three grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
