Edith D. "Edie" Stubblefield, 81, died at 11:14 a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 3, 2009) at Eureka Community Hospital, Eureka, Illinois.
She was born Sept. 2, 1928, in Towanda, Illinois, to Clarence and Nellie McCollum Bier. She married Rogers T. Stubblefield on June 19, 1949, in Bloomington, Illinois. He preceded her in death on November 29, 1983.
Surviving are her children, Priscilla Reinking, Ty (Caroline) Stubblefield and Meg (Rick) Hipp, nine grandchildren, Polly (Brian) Reinking, Doug (Melissa) Reinking, Julie (Mike) Foster, Clayton Stubblefield, Emily Stubblefield, Lindsey (Jonas) Nelson, Austin Gray, Sam Hipp and Ellie Hipp, four great-grandchildren and one sister, Margaret Goodlick.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister and four brothers.
