Ben was born in Mechanicsburg on March 9, 1925, the son of the late Benson R. and Vera (Seidle) Spangler.
He served in the US Navy in WW II.
Ben was the owner operator of Spanglers Electrical Service Mechanicsburg. He loved animals and spending time in his summer house in Bellaire Park.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Lois (Goodhart) Spangler, and his cousin Benson Rohebeck of West Chester, a niece and his dog Elli. He was preceded in death by a sister Jean Stambaugh.
Funeral Services will be held in the Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, at 11:00 on Saturday, November 7th, with Reverend Robert S. Seibold officiating.
There will be a viewing Saturday from 10 to 11 in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery Mechanicsburg.
