Private -- Enlisted Sept. 1, 1862. Wounded May 19, 1864. In Floyd House and Ocmulgee Hospitals at Macon, Ga., with gunshot wound in right knee, May 27, 1864. Pension records show he was furloughed for 60 days in 1864, and was at home, wounded, close of war. (Born in Ga. Oct. 3, 1839.

He served in Co A, 54th regiment , Mercer's brigade. He was crippled. He married on Dec 29, 1859 in Twiggs County, Ga and died Feb, 1913.
