L. C. David

David was born May 15, 1937 in Fort Wayne, Indiana and died October 15, 2009 in Tucson.

David served his country during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era in the U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Navy. He was awarded the Bronze Star and was a Purple Heart recipient.

David was a patrolman with the Los Angeles Police Department and was an honorary member of the Long Beach Police Officers Association. David, affectionately known as "Shark Bait," loved riding motorcycles and rode with the Desert Renegades and Brothers of the Third Wheel. As an officer, he rode with Arizona Rangers. He will be missed by his dear friends, Lance and Deborah White and all his riding friends.

He is survived by his half-brothers, Gene and Philip and half-sister, Betty.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 6, 2009, 3:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, with military honors by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile. www.evergreenmortuary-cemetery.com.
