Mrs Nellie Marshall Dies after Brief Illness
Mrs Nellie Marshall, 74, of 919 Twenty-third street, died Thursday afternoon after a short illness at Weld County General hospital. She moved to Greeley from Prairie City, la In November 1952 to be with her children.
Mrs. Marshall loved being out of doors and especially liked watching and feeding the birds. Her by was crocheting rag rugs. She was born Aug 21, 1880 at Pella, Ia.
Six children survive: Mrs Herbert Clark, Bill Huckabay, Mrs Bert Van Zante and Elsie Marshall all of Greeley, Orval Marshall of Monroe, Ia and Nona Wierda of Portland,Ore. Also surviving are three sisters Mrs Jack (Antonette) Curry of Spencer, Ia, Mrs Minnie Jenkins of Adel, Ia and Mrs Edgar (Dena) Warner of Prairie City, Ia and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services and Interment will be Monday at Prairie Iowa Friends may call Saturday from 2 to 9 p m at the Secord Funeral Home.
