Laredo, Tex, April 28...WC Giddens, familiarly known as "Connie" Giddens, was shot and mortally wounded on the S.N. Johnson farm in South Laredo, Sunday evening. The wounded man was brought back to Laredo last night and died at 1 o'clock this morning. Giddens who was a well known mechanic of this city, was employed as a pumping foreman on the Johnson Farm and he and a Mexican boy had a quarrel, during which Giddens struck the Mexican.
