FUNERAL OF W. L. Giddens
The funeral of Mr. W. L. Giddens died at his farm home on Thursday evening took place yesterday afternoon, the funeral procession leaving the farm six miles north of Laredo at 4 o'clock and interment taking place in the family lot in the city cemetery at about 6 o'clock. The obsequies at both the house and grave were conducted by Rev. Bell of the Baptist church. There were quite a number of friends of the family who left from the farm, while a number of others in the city took cars and proceeded to the cemetery. The funeral was largely attended.
