LEE, Carl Wright, age 85, born February 20, 1924 and passed away Monday, November 2, 2009 at his home. He grew up in Englewood and graduated from Englewood High School as Valedictorian of the class of 1943. He was a member of Chestua Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and teacher. He was a lifelong dairy farmer who received farmer of the year in 1976. Preceded in death by parents Hugh and Annabel Lee, first wife Carolyn Blackford Lee, brother Clyde Lee, son-in-law Jim Presley, sister-in-law Lucille Lee and brother-in-law John Smalling. Russ Maples officiating. Interment 11:00 A.M. Friday, Chestua Baptist Cemetery with grandchildren and great and children serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Chestua Baptist Church or the building fund of Englewood First Baptist Church or the American Bible Society. Family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
