90, of Tucson, AZ passed away November 1, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Val and daughters, Angela and Andrea. Art followed in his father's footsteps and enlisted in the Navy at 18 and proudly served his country for thirty-years. After leaving the military he went on to work as a safety manager in heavy construction. He retired again in 1982 and settled in Tucson with his wife and two daughters. In his leisure time he enjoyed collecting model trains, painting military miniatures and working in the yard. Art will be remembered for his dedication and love for his family and his service to his country. He brought joy to others by sharing his life story and sense of humor. Art, you're right…. it's always something! Visitation will be held at Desert Sunset Funeral Home, 3081 W. Orange Grove Rd., from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2009. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 6, 2009 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
