CARL D. CHIPMAN, 85, of Memphis, retired from Velsicol Chemical Co., died Friday at St. Peter Villa. Services were Monday at Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery Midtown. He was a member of Williams Chapel Baptist Church in Halls. Mr. Chipman, the widower of Mary Nelle Chipman, leaves a son, Jerry C. Chipman, and a sister, Arline Jones, both of Memphis.
