Mr. Baker was born Union City, New Jersey to the late Robert C. and Elizabeth Rakics Baker and retired from the New Jersey school system. He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Vietnam conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene K. Baker of the residence; son, Rudolph Charles Baker, Jr. of Reidsville; daughter, Amanda Petrich and husband, Joe of Greensboro; grandchildren, Angelina Baker of New Jersey; Darlene Baker, Rudolph Charles Baker, III, both of Gibsonville; Joseph Petrich, Jr. and McKenzie Petrich, both of Greensboro.
