Mrs. Odessa Mae (Dee) Stewart age 97 of McMinnville, TN, died Tuesday, November 03, 2009, at Rain Tree Manor Nursing Center in McMinnville, TN. Born on July 23, 1912, in Campbell County, TN, she was a homemaker and a member of McMinnville First Baptist Church. Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her parents Joseph P. and Maggie Wallace Ridenour, her husband Walter K. Stewart, her sisters Hulletta Braden, Nola Walters, Dorothy Ford, and Madelyn McCoy, and brother's Bill and Elbert Ridenour.
Survivors include her son Ken Stewart of McMinnville, TN, granddaughter Kennette and Rick Dixon of McMinnville, TN, great-grandchildren McKenna Dixon and Allie Dixon both of McMinnville, TN, brothers and sisters-in-law Joe and Margie Ridenour and Jack and Mary Ridenour all of Knoxville, TN, brother-in-law Clamon and Serena Stewart of Mt. Carmel, TN, and 16 nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is 2:30 P.M. Thursday, November 05, 2009, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Rick Dixon will officiate and the Harmony Echoes will sing. Interment will be 12:00 P.M. Noon (Eastern Time) Friday, November 06, 2009, at Red Hill Cemetery in Anderson County, TN. The Stewart Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. and again on Thursday from 11 A.M. until 2:30 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
