Abraham was the son of Abraham L. Iszard and Ann Estell. He married first to Mary Frances "Fannie" Bower on 24 Dec. 1878 in Woodbury, Gloucester Co., NJ. He married second to Sadie Maugham about 1906.

He was a cabinet maker, merchant, and minister in the Methodist Episcopal Conference of New Jersey from 1887 to 1923.

He died aged 86 years, 9 months & 25 days.
