She was born on Feb. 7, 1943, in Peoria, Ill. She attended Woodruff High School in Peoria. She married Larry G. Leitner on Jan. 6, 1962, in Bartonville, Ill.
Surviving are her husband, Larry; two sons, Ronald and Randy (Leslie) Leitner of Pekin; one brother, Leslie (Pat) Blaylock of Mapleton, Ill.; and one sister, Tonda (Bill) Dobrowlski of Liberty Hill, Texas.
Mary enjoyed traveling, especially with her sister-in-law, Betty Holloway of East Peoria, and friends. She was passionate of all animals, including her bassett hounds.
Mary and her husband, Larry, were former co-owners of Mid-Illini Express in Pekin, where she served as president.
Cremation has been accorded.
