Born April 23rd 1939, in Rochester, NY to Claude and Ruth (Rollins) Brown, Marcia lived in Penfield, NY through all of her youth and married in 1959 to high school sweetheart David Walter Kenyon. The family moved to Galeton, CO in 1972 when Eastman Kodak Company transferred Dave. Marcia became a widow just six months later when her husband died from a motorcycle accident in Weld County, CO. She became a single mom and raised her three sons on her own.
Marcia was an advocate of education and held Master Degrees in counseling and geography. She provided direction to several youths throughout her life and touched the lives of many with her kindness. She loved the outdoors and was a pilot, teacher, and photographer. Marcia was an adventurer in life, loving its beauty. Dearly loved by her three sons Steve, Andy, and John, she will be remembered in her glory for her personal beauty, optimism and happiness.
