McCurdy Lewis, 85, of Adrian RD 1, died at home Monday (November 9, 1964). He had been a retired employee of the Allegheny River Mining Co. The deceased was born in 1879, in Worthington, a son of Culbertson and Caroline (Yockey) Lewis. He had been a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Adrian. Survivors include two sons, Cull of Adrian RD 1 and Donald of Kittanning RD 3; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Clawson on Indiana; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. LEWIS — Friends of McCurdy Lewis, 85, of Adrian RD 1, who died Monday (November 9, 1964), will be received at the Snyder Funeral Home, Cowansville. Family visitation hours are 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. tonight and 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. The body will be taken to the Limestone Church of God at 12:30 p.m. Thursday where services will be held at1:30 p.m. The Rev. R. A. Taylor, pastor of the church, will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements by Snyder.
